Reiki, or Rei meaning ‘God’s wisdom or higher power’ and Ki meaning ‘life force energy’ is all about the spiritual life force energy. It is abundantly available in Nature or universe and can be put to good use with intent. It takes faith and will to use for the welfare of clients. Regarding, who can learn Reiki, it can be that it is for everyone and anyone who is willing to use it for welfare and is not limited by any boundaries or traditions. Reiki has nothing to do with any religion and is a totally spiritual way which is independent of any religious practice in the world. It is totally different from any traditional religion and can be used by anybody for healing purpose. Any person can learn it through proper practice of the procedures involved and after attaining a Master’s qualification. Master’s qualification is also required or mandatory for teaching Reiki but it is not necessary that a person obtaining the degree has to compulsorily teach.

Moreover, Reiki is not a person’s or group of person’s intellectual property and can be freely practiced by anyone from any religion, tradition, race, culture, language or part of the world. It is absolutely freely available and only needs the devotion and commitment of the practitioner. It also does not depend on the spiritual capability or capacity of a person intending to learn and practice. It is a totally safe, simple and natural way for spiritual, emotional, mental and physical betterment and evolution of a person that all can use. It has awesome power to heal or treat any disease and creates strong remedial effect for even the diseases which are considered hard or difficult to cure or even not curable by the traditional medical science.

Reiki is in perfect conjunction with modern as well as traditional treatment, curing and healing systems such as the modern medicine, acupuncture, acupressure etc. and has no side or harmful effects. It ensures quick and easy recovery and creates a permanent solution for the disease depending upon the patient’s faith and confidence in the healing process. It is an amazingly simple technique which has learnt from one generation to the other and the skills are passed on over to the next generation. This is done through a procedure called ‘attunement’ which is given by master to the student which entitles the student to practice Reiki and heal others.
