To treat or heal a disease we must first understand that what a disease is. A disease is basically negative energy that has stuck with us. Therefore, if we want to get healed then we must remove this negative energy from within us. Sometimes energy in each of us gets stagnant because of lack of flow and causes diseases, sickness and illness.

If we want to cure ourselves then firstly we must ensure that the energy flow is there and there are no areas of negative energy in us. That is why Reiki and disease are totally linked to each other. Regular practice of Reiki will cause good energy flow in us and remove any blockades in us.

The chakras are the centres of energy and any wrong performance will cause defective energy flow in the body. There will be hurdles in the flow and there will be areas of negative energy which will cause range of physical and psychological diseases. This energy is the universal energy which cleanses the body through its own intelligence. It does not depend on your ideas and thoughts and nobody needs to guide it. It, somehow, knows where to work and the way to do it. It is termed intelligent energy because it is already aware of your problems.

It flows through the body and keeps curing the person wherever there are defects. It only requires a channel to flow to you which is served by a Reiki practitioner. The practitioner does not do anything on his or her own and it is the energy which does everything. From entering the body to curing the affected parts and cells, it does all its own. The client only needs to welcome the energy into him or her. The attitude of the client should be healthy and he or she must respect and accept the great universal energy so that it can heal him.

This universal energy necessarily works for the best of the client and no interference is required from the client. He has just to be acceptable of the energy and let it do its work. This eternal and healing energy will circulate in the right pattern and remove and hurdles that are there in the chakras so that the proper and rightful flow can be restored. The higher conscious level of this flow will create a new and fresh wave of energy in you will take your responsibility.
