Reiki has been found to complement acupuncture very well. It increases the healing power of acupuncture and provides it a new type of healing technique with which patients are able to heal much faster and quicker. It has been seen and observed under various controlled studies that reiki and acupuncture are highly complementary to each other and support it very well using different approaches to the same thing. When Reiki is given along with the administration of needles, it makes acupuncture more powerful. The combination of Reiki attunement and inserting the needles has proved to be very effective for long term and medication free treatment of longstanding diseases.

During applying Reiki at the time of acupuncture sessions, patient feel strong heat and energy in the needles tips as compared to those without Reiki. There is more warmth and vibrational energy and it seems as if the energy is penetrating deep in the body and the mind. Suddenly, everything becomes much more powerful, energetic and effective. It feels like the energy is directly entering the chakras and one is full of power and energy. There is lot more strength and a feeling of relaxation, stress-free state of mind, and light weighted.

There is more energy coming and flowing into the body as compared to any other way or method. The aura becomes very clear and suddenly there is a gush of the eternal universal energy or the creator energy which seems to correct everything related to the body and the soul. As a result, the patients are more relaxed and calm and even tend to fall asleep during the procedure. They are able to control their heart rates, blood pressure, and other stress related symptoms. It has been observed that pendulums do not move because of blocked energy in the body but after Reiki is given to the concerned part of the body, the pendulum starts moving again. This proves that the energy blockade which was there earlier, faded with the application of Reiki. The movement of pendulum showed flowing energy and clients reported substantial improvement in pain. This was much quicker than the clients expected and above all, it caused a lasting relief. This was surprising to many because no medication was involved.
