Reiki is a great treatment or healing way for anybody. It only requires the willingness of the client to proceed. There are no requirements of education or any other qualification for giving this therapy. It teaches many lessons to both the healer and the healed. It can be described as truly a magic. One of them is the value of faith, mutual trust and belief. It is very important while imparting healing to anybody because you trust in the energy flowing through you. The energy is intelligent energy which flows on its own but only needs to be channeled by the practitioner to the client. Reiki energy is conscious and knows its way to the desired part of body or the body part which needs to be healed or cured. The healer focuses on the Reiki symbols and the healing is done on its own. The body of the healer should be in good condition for the intelligent and conscious energy to flow through it.

You need not concentrate hard to enable the energy to come and flow in the body. You should never try hard. It not only does not help but creates blockade as well. It just restricts the free flow of energy. The requirement is to trust the energy fully. It will find its own way and if you try hard to control it that will only cause harm. Not trying to guide the energy increases its power and strength and the client is able to draw much more advantage from it. It shows the power and value of intention and intuition and the power to belief and faith. The more you try not to interfere the more it is beneficial for the client. So for the best results, let it work on its own. Therefore it is a case of total surrender or trust the enormous power of the universal energy. Ensure that you never drift or deviate from the basics and try to enforce your ideas, views. Never try to impose what you think is right or correct. Just go on doing as your inner voice says you to do. Never experiment and do just as mentioned in Usui Reki. Just and simply trust your intuition and go by it.
