In researches across top hospitals, academic institutions and research centres, Reiki has proved to enhance medical treatment and inducing sleep in patients. For example, a study at Hartford Hospital has found that it improves sleep by 86 percent and reduces pregnancy related anxiety by 94 percent. Now, it seems that there is a close connection between hospitals & Reiki because of the enormous healing power of the Reiki system. There were other researches also to determine the effectiveness of Reiki and the result was that the overall performance of Reiki was rated as very good or excellent. Reiki has also been found to reduce pain by 78 percent and nausea by 80 percent which means much less dependence on traditional or conventional medical and health systems and in scientific language, it was termed a therapeutic modality.
Therefore, it can be said that hospitals and medical institutions and organisations are experiencing major changes as a result of Reiki and its effects. There is much less dependability on modern medicine and increasing one on the healing and curing power of Reiki. These hospitals and care givers are providing in-house training to their staff to make them able to treat patients using Reiki for faster and better healing.
