Reiki has brought thousands of similar-minded persons together over years and throughout the world. It can even be called a family as it has closely knit different persons from other parts of the world into a single ‘group’. We can say that the concept of family can be extended beyond one’s spouse or siblings and to whoever who can think similar to you. This becomes visible and significant when a member of the ‘Reiki family’ is not well or in a health condition. Others are always prompt in addressing the problem of their fellow Reiki practitioner. This not only binds the group but encourages others to do so in case of any problems.
Besides, Reiki is sent to others in the biological family as well and healing is done. This is done in-hand or distantly in the remote way by invoking the distant healing symbol and asking for healing by letting Reiki do its work and go to the healing part or situation or event.
Reiki in the family makes each family member more compassionate and full of gratitude for others. There is all the more love and affection among family members. Reiki has ‘proved’ to be a great channel for keeping different members of a family or Reiki group loving and living together. Reiki reminds us of the great purpose of our lives and how we can help others to be happy and content. It reminds us to remain compassionate and tolerate towards each other.
