Reiki is promising a bright future for all of us because of its growing popularity in far away parts of the world. It has spread dramatically over the few decades and is surging ahead with great acceptance. More and more people are coming to accept it and even becoming intensely attached with it. We can definitely say that The future is Reiki for earth. Much depends on it regarding how the world takes shape in the future, how and what tomorrow’s world looks like.

All this was unimaginable in the near past even. To the extent that it was difficult explaining Reiki to others. They found the concept difficult to grasp, let alone learn or practice. They put up questions which only experts could answer and because experts were not everywhere every time, it created misconceptions and misunderstandings. Those who knew and practiced it often kept it to themselves out of fear of being ridiculed by the ignorant public. These were the times, when even if Reiki was referred to on public platforms, it was done so with a feeling of something strange and low. People in general were simply not equipped or able to realise the deep and complicated concepts and decided only on knowledge based on superficial information. This was the most in Europe and US. People there not knowledgeable enough to dwell through the high and powerful concepts in Reiki and could only resorted to fun at the maximum. In other parts also, Reiki experts were considered weird and seen with strange looks and were considered misled misinformed.

But all these began to change in mid 90s and it began to catch popularity everywhere. Its acceptance grew and the general and overall misconception got over. The media began to refer it in a positive way and there was a growing realisation that it is not only significant but could be the most important and even crucial aspect of our lives! So there was big transformation. Views changed from being ignorant to massive acceptance. Research was also funded and there were increasingly positive outcomes and this furthered the public opinion. It was reported that in the US alone, millions of people were resorting to alternate therapies, ways and methods. It came out that people were spending millions of dollars on the alternative therapies and treatments which was not there some years ago. Therefore, there was a big dimension shift in the thinking, attitude and perception of people in general all over the world.
