We are today facing a world full of difficulties because of continuous conflicts and struggles between different societies, religions and ethnic groups. It seems to be a never ending struggle and millions of people are losing their right to live with peace and successfully. Throughout history we can see only wars and battles and strife torn areas in ever part of the world in an attempt by people to dominate each other. This has resulted in untold suffering but we have not learnt and not yet learning any lessons from the past. In fact, the hatred and animosity seems to be only growing worse by the day. Majority of the violence and suffering comes from religious intolerance which is not seeing an end. Therefore there is a strong and strict need for something which not only establishes peace and tranquility on earth but is irrespective of religion as well. For this, the answer is – Reiki – the energy based healing way which is not based on any religion in the world. So, there is great hope for Reiki and out future if we truly, willfully and honestly follow the things mentioned in Reiki.

Reiki is truly spiritual in nature and has no links to any religion and that is why it has been able to catch the attention of spiritual people or even those who think themselves to be atheists. It can be definitely said to be a logical process and does not involve any affirmation to any belief or faith system in the world. There are Hindus, Buddhists and Jains etc. who practice it and are comfortable with it because it does not interfere or clash with their religions in any way. They can continue to do or follow what they were doing. In short, religion and Reiki can and do go together.

It has also been seen that different religions and groups have been attracted to Reiki and are successfully practicing it along with their respective religious beliefs and practices. One important thing about Reiki is that it does not take time to give you spiritual experience. It is immediately effective and permanently so. People doing Reiki feel immediate contact with the divine and places him or her in direct contact with the higher power and gets embraced in its compassion and grace. That is why Reiki has been able to unite people with varied religious and ethnic backgrounds. With time, the number of such people is growing and we can definitely expect a different and happy world in the future.
