You should begin by thanksgiving and with the intent that you are open to become a Reiki channel. You also say that you have left your personality and ego and intend to become the receiver of the eternal, divine and creator universal life force energy. When you do this, you will become the clear and clean source for the flow of energy through your body. You are also thankful to the angles and masters who are going to help you in your quest. This is the beginning of Reiki and moon energy.

Then, make your light strong to prepare for the energy field which will come. Start this by drawing the Usui power symbol and shifting the energy to the etheric field. Also, draw small power symbols above the chakras. Direct Reiki onto your solar plexus and heart. Call the divine as well the angles and spiritual masters who have ascended and come forward to help you. Welcome and thank them for their gesture, help and presence. You will permit them to help you in your effort to create sacred intention and assist you in transforming your visions, ideas and feelings into reality.

Concentrate on the Usui mental and emotional symbols and then write your sacred intention down. In this, include your personal aims, goals and sacred service. You can also draw something which represents your vision as a whole. Simply channel your mental and emotional energies into what you have written and express them.

Next, invoke the distant symbol and imagine that you are creating a bridge full of light connecting your heart and the hearts of spiritual beings that are present there with you. Feel that you are getting connected to all the sacred souls on earth. Experience the singularity of creation over the false feeling of worldly separation. This becomes possible because Reiki is beyond space and time. It transcends the barriers and earthly limitations of the universe.

You can continue to meditate and radiate the Reiki energy for long times. There is no limitation regarding the span of transmitting the Reiki energy. You can continue doing it till you want. Just keep in mind that you should be comfortable with it. After you have done all this, you should complete the procedure with a prayer of thanks. When you complete, draw a large power symbol over you for disconnecting with the bonds that were created and come back to the regular life.
