Meditation is regarding mental concentration in our special moments. It could be during anytime in our daily routine lives or when we specify a time and intentionally set a time aside for the purpose. The intentional meditation connects us to God and helps us hear what He has to say to us.
This is different from prayer when we say something aloud to convey it to God. In unintended meditation, we can think or concentrate on God unknowingly or while doing other tasks such as driving, mowing lawn, bathing, jogging, running, washing clothes, in shower and so many such things.
Meditating unintentionally is automatic but keeping a specific time or allotting a particular time for meditation is something different. For this we have to consider a number of things. It is especially difficult in the present times. At present, we have to do multitasking and have a hectic life.
We have to run from one task to another in no time, we have to go out for work and manage home work as well with equal quality and proficiency. All this demands time but we have to manage all and take time out for meditation and self healing as well because spirituality is an essential part of our lives. We need to just do it because nothing is more important than this. If this is good, everything else follows. Our relationship with God is the most important in life and our life depends on how we communicate with God as a friend.
