Reiki can be experienced on one’s own. It is a feeling that can only be experienced and not told. A person must have an open mind when approaching Reiki and proceed with his or her intuition. One cannot expect Reiki to work by being against it and proceeding for it also. There must be a condition of mind when the client is neutral in approach and let things happen if they indeed happen. There should be the proper attitude towards Reiki when going for it. It all begins with the clearing process which means clearing the body off toxins and the adjustment of the body with Reiki or the universal energy. During the process all the energy blockages will be clear and there will be a condition in which the healing process begins due to the flowing of creator or eternal energy through the body.

Initially there will be a range of emotions. The client will pass through all different types of emotions and there will be physical symptoms as well. Some of the most common symptoms are headaches, neck discomfort and a generalized feeling of uneasiness. After the early stages are over, there is time for Reiki attunement and attaining the higher levels. The highest level is the Master level which is truly amazing. It opens up a door to an entirely new experience. There is a feeling of energy based existence which transcends everything else. There is a feeling of belonging to Nature and this is a fulfilling feeling.

At the Master level, the aura becomes highly charged and there is more powerful and intense healing of the clients. There is powerful healing using energy only because ultimately everything is energy. We can feel vibes all around us and there is evolution to the higher being. Under Reiki, there is a total transformation and evolution takes place. There is an evolution which takes place in the physical world but after a certain stage the evolution is at the abstract or energy level. One can attain the highest state of supreme evolution or Supreme Being through regular practice of Reiki in a totally committed and disciplined way. There needs to be a rigorous routine and one has to follow strong and strict regimen to become a Master. On becoming a Master, the client is able to heal and has the authority to teach Reiki to others.
