Although, Reiki & business are not related, it can be used as a source of supplementing one’s income. It is a possibility that students undergo Reiki training and use their knowledge to add to their earning by charging a fee from those they heal.

It is possible that some may be reluctant to charge for Reiki but you should keep in mind that even Dr. Usui charged for his healings. Although he did not charge earlier, he began charging later on because he realised that people value something if they have to pay for it. This realisation came out of the fact that when he gave the healing to people earlier, they were changed and adopted a better lifestyle but returned to their original lifestyle after sometime.

There are many who need Reiki but are unable to learn or are not in a position to use it because of various reasons such as serious illness, busy life etc. These people are able to have the benefits of this divine healing by paying a nominal amount for it. Here, the same process applies as Dr. Usui experienced when he began charging for the healing. People sometimes hesitate to come for cure if they do not pay for it because they take it as an obligation. They will also hesitate to come to you frequently or as required because of this hesitation. This way they will miss on the healing which would have done well to them otherwise. It means that if you charge money from your clients, they will visit you in more numbers and frequently as well.

A Reiki practice with a professional way is a great way to serve all, including you. It can be used for the dual purpose of healing others in maximum numbers and support you as well. Your clients can also use the same way to heal others when they get trained in it. Anybody can start it using Reiki power itself by focusing his or her energies on the goal and intention and by following few fundamental principles that keep the practice original.
