It should be kept in mind that law differs from one part or country or state to another. If not paid attention to these, it can take serious turn so it is advisable to keep caution.

In case there are legal issues when offering Reiki then you can recall that it can be given to any person without touching at all. There is no must for touching somebody when applying Reiki and it can be easily and effectively given to any person without the need to touch. This should be especially kept in mind when it is required to touch near the private parts of people. As many will hesitate to let others do so, it should be done from an appropriate distance as there is provision in Reiki healing. This should be done to avoid any problems. You should also advertise this and mention clearly about this aspect when offering Reiki. Clients must understand that it may be required by the practitioner to touch near the groin or other regions of the body when imparting this energy healing therapy. Let the future clients know that it involves something in which the practitioner will bring his or her hands close to the body at least. But it is also a fact that the hands can be brought to a distance close the body which is comfortable to the client and he or she does not feel upset, disturbed or breached.

The basic and main idea is to provide the energy healing or Reiki therapy without causing any trouble to the client. For this, you should know the law of the land of that particular area or place where you are offering the therapy and avoid the uninvited issues that may arise out of your lack of knowledge.
